Present July Queens Green Drinks

Hope to see you at this month’s Queens Green Drinks tonight, Thursday, July 16th! The LIC Community Boathouse in cooperation with Green Shores NYC is hosting Queens Green Drinks this month at our former boathouse location on the LIC waterfront. Come check out this gorgeous waterfront space, have a drink with us, and even take a peek into what’s going on at the Deitch Art Gallery. We’ll enjoy a waterfront sunset as the skyline lights up.

The mission of the all-volunteer Long Island Community Boathouse is to provide western Queens residents and visitors with educational and recreational paddling programs. Our programs raise awareness about estuary ecology with the goal of restoring the natural beauty and health of New York Harbor.

The LIC Boathouse is hard at work providing some great free programming to everyone in the community! Check out their free paddles at Hallets Cove every Sunday from 1-5pm or reserve a spot on a Friday night chill paddle and watch the sunset behind the NYC skyline while paddling on the water. We are also hard at work preparing for City of Water Day on July 18th at Governor’s Island!

Green Shores NYC works to enliven the Astoria-Long Island City waterfront by caring and advocating for safe public parks, green spaces, waterways and a waterfront greenway.
