Come one, come all to celebrate the pioneering organization that has facilitated so much waterfront reclamation with its ongoing mission.

The Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club is a 501c3 non-profit corporation that fosters waterfront access and is the “parent” organization to Long Island City Community Boathouse, Red Hook Boaters, Kayak Staten Island, and the Riverbank Pool Program.

A successful spinoff was achieved in Brooklyn Bridge Park, where recreational boating is offered to the public by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Boaters.

The GDCC continues to add relevant content to the debate about best use of the so-called “Sixth Borough.”  It’s an important conversation that YOU deserve to be part of!  Participate.  Come and meet other awesome artists, artisans and partisans, activists of all stripes, and your friends and neighbors.

We are grateful for the support of the Dredgers in fulfilling our mission at LICCB.  We hope to see you Saturday!  It’ll be a blast.  Here’s the Facebook invite, check it out.  Be sure to click the link and buy your tickets today!
