The Long Island City Community Boathouse is an activity committee of the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club. The Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club is a not-for-profit organization and is recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Contributions made via the Long Island City Community Boathouse website may be used towards Long Island City Community Boathouse activities or to promote the mission of the 501(c)3.
