Thursday June 27th –  Astoria Fireworks Paddle. This plum trip is exclusively for active volunteers who have made our free public walk up events happen in past years. We thank you for your service! Tidal currents will be such that this trip starts and ends east of Astoria so we’ll meet up mid-afternoon to load boats onto the trailer and travel to the put in. The paddling will be moderate with a shore break before and after the fireworks. This year’s event will be extra special since the Macy’s July 4th fireworks will not be on the East River this year.
